All Fortnite Ranks in Order
Venturing down the road of competitive Fortnite, but not sure exactly how many ranks there are in competitive? The popular game mode is full of some of the best sweats in the game, making it a hefty challenge to move up. Here is a list of all the Fortnite ranks in order from worst to best.
Fortnite Ranks
The ranking system in Fortnite is similar to many other games as it starts with Bronze and then moves up. However, higher up in the ranking system is where the game differs from others.
Here are all the Fortnite ranks in order:
- Bronze (I, II, III)
- Silver (I, II, III)
- Gold (I, II, III)
- Platinum (I, II, III)
- Diamond (I, II, III)
- Elite
- Champion
- Unreal
After Diamond, each ranking is no longer split up into threes. Elite, Champion and Unreal are all their own ranking.

Fortnite’s Old System
Did you know that Fortnite used to have a completely different system for Ranked? In fact, it was not even called Ranked, instead, it was titled “Arena.”
Arena first left the game back in 2023, when Ranked officially replaced it. So, what was Arena? Well, the game mode went off of points and not rankings.
There were three different divisions, Open, Contender and Champion. Players who wanted to compete in FNCS had to be in Champion League. Fortnite often played around with how many points players needed to reach Champion League, but it was usually around 6,500.
In some seasons, once you reached a specific division, you would not fall back below that division even if your points dropped below. This ended up changing later on until Fortnite officially released Ranked.
