The Outer Worlds 2‘s Paradise Island is filled with activities and quests, along with Legendary Armors to find. While some are tied to side quests, others can be found just lying around in tricky locations. Since these armors are Legendary with impressive Mods, it’s a no-brainer to search for them the moment you step onto the island. Here are all the Legendary Armors on Paradise Island and how you can find them.

1 Scoundrel’s Aegis

The Scoundrel’s Aegis in The Outer Worlds 2 is a Legendary Light Armor located inside the Crabble Spawning Grounds cave on Paradise Island (southwest of the Landing Pad). Follow the path inside the cave until you reach a big chamber-like area. Now, the cave will be filled with enemies, so proceed cautiously.

The armor will be kept on a table on a platform to the left of the large pillar in the center. The Scoundrel’s Aegis has the Last Stand Mod, which allows players to gain 150 Temporary Health after using a Companion Ability (can go up to 650 with the Leadership skill).

The Limited Production Gentleperson’s Oxonian is a Legendary Hat that’s all about Speech in The Outer Worlds 2. Once you arrive on Paradise Island, follow the quest marker to Fairfield and begin the main quest “The Saboteur of Paradise”. Head to the town hall building where you’ll meet two crucial figures — Minister Milverstreet and Acquisitions Officer Kaur.

Both of them will ask you for your help to carry out their missions. However, since they’re rivals, doing one’s questline locks you out from doing the other’s for the rest of The Outer Worlds 2. If you want the Legendary Hat, pick Minister Milverstreet’s side and finish his questline, beginning with the mission “A Refreshing Bit of News”, and upon completion, you will receive it.

The Hat looks stylish, and the stats are impressive too, offering players increased Critical Chance and Damage, along with allowing Companions to charge 10% quicker (scaling up to 30% with the Speech skill). If you’re a fan of speaking and flattering everyone with your verbal skills, Milverstreet’s Hat will help you significantly on your way.

3 Kaur’s Kuirass

Not a fan of Speech? Then avoid picking Milverstreet’s side during the main quest “The Saboteur of Paradise” in The Outer Worlds 2. Help Kaur instead of Milverstreet, and you will receive Kaur’s Kuirass upon completion of her questline, beginning with the mission “Above and Beyond Repair”. However, there are some things to keep in mind to get this Legendary Armor.

During Kaur’s questline, you will be tasked with going to the Automech Repair Center, where you can either sabotage or help the Protectorate. Ultimately, the choice is yours, and you will receive Kaur’s Kuirass as long as you complete her entire questline. Additionally, you’ll also gain valuable intel on the Vox Relay Station from Kaur immediately if you choose to help her.

Returning to the armor, it’s indispensable as it reduces your Toxicity by 1 upon taking damage. The amount of Toxicity lowered scales with the Medical skill, and the number can go up to 3. Plus, Kaur’s Kuirass is a Legendary Heavy Armor, which means you can tank more damage with it while also maximizing survivability.

The Dose is a sweet-looking Legendary Helmet in The Outer Worlds 2 that you can obtain by doing the quest “Vanquishing the Vexing Vapors” after completing “An Aegis Against the Miasma”. Talk to Marshal Donelson to begin the quest and then head to the Zyranium-filled Primary Repair Hanger.

After locating the Zyranium Flow Control System, fix both the leaks and Initiate Zyranium Flow Shutdown using the Control System to eradicate the leak. Report to Donelson and you’ll receive The Dose, which allows players to gain 20% Crit Chance when standing in a Zyranium Cloud. Additionally, Zyranium poisoning is also slowed down by 50%.

5 Reclamation Raiment

The Reclamation Raiment is a Legendary Armor that will come in handy for players who have invested in Engineering in The Outer Worlds 2. To obtain this, head to Fairfield Jail, search for an officer’s personal terminal that you can access, and read the memos under the Compliance Investigations Notations section to begin the side quest “Schemes of the Secret Smugglers”.

Next, don’t head to the Fairfield Greenhouse directly to talk with Emeline Galloway. Instead, go to her house, located south of the Greenhouse. Once you’re there, access Emeline’s Terminal and read all her memos, then head to the Greenhouse to confront her about the smuggling. Tell her that you know everything and accept her mission to join the Sub Rosa faction.

After that, you’ll be tasked with accessing Chief Replenishment Officer Cardosa’s Terminal. She’ll be located on the west side of Fairfield, along with her Terminal. Speak to Cardosa and purchase the Reclamation Raiment from her inventory. The Armor offers players a 5% chance to gain Scrap Metal or Black Powder upon receiving damage (increases to 15% with Engineering Skill).

6 Monocular Target-Finder

The Monocular Target Finder is an elite Legendary Helmet in The Outer Worlds 2, and to obtain this, you need to complete the “A Final Death for Gravity” quest. Start your quest for the Helmet by heading to Sovereign’s Sweet Spire Grove, located southwest of Fairfield.

Once you’re there, you’ll witness Jackson Plum fall to his death. Examine the body and speak with Acquisitional Integrators Othaham and Ferch to begin the quest. Take the P.A.L.E. boots from Jackson’s corpse (double-jump unlocked!) and complete the mission’s objectives until you get to part towards the end with the Harvester Automech Control Unit. Lower the Harvester and talk to Othaham to receive the Helmet.

This Helmet is built for sniping as it offers 10% increased Weakspot damage, along with additional Weakspot damage that scales with an enemy’s distance. The farther the distance of a target is, the higher the damage bonus (increases up to 30% at 100m), so it’s formidable despite the damage falloff.

7 Arbiter Vanguard Suit

The Arbiter Vanguard Suit is a Legendary Heavy Armor in The Outer Worlds 2 that can be obtained from a safe inside the Arbiter Training Facility. Head to the Facility’s entrance and enter the door on the left, with the flight of stairs. The safe will be inside the room on your left.

Unlock it using Lockpick 5 and a Mag-Pick, and the armor is yours to flaunt. The Suit allows players to stack +1% Critical Chance upon taking damage in combat. The stack resets after landing a Critical Hit or if the combat encounter ends.

8 Bomb Suit

The Bomb Suit in The Outer Worlds 2 is a Heavy Armor with heaps of padding located inside the Bridge Armory at the Bridge of the Reverent. The Armory can be unlocked by either using the Bridge Armory Keycard, having Lockpick 5 and 1 Mag-Pick, or by having Explosives 5.

The Keycard is located across the bridge, opposite the Armory. Once inside, the Bomb Suit will be inside a tray on the right. Now, this Legendary Armor features Extra Cushion, which lowers the damage received from explosives by 90%. Additionally, the Armor offers a chance to retrieve parts from mines that you step on (can increase with Engineering).

9 Escape Suit

The Escape Suit in The Outer Worlds 2 is a Legendary Light Armor obtained during the side quest “The Lab that Shouted Incoherently and Often”. While progressing through the quest, you’ll be tasked with finding Omid Ormsby, which will lead you to Eden’s Bounty Agricenter.

Sneak inside the building, and you’ll find Ormsby locked in a room. Talk to him and he’ll give you some tasks. Once you’re done with them, report to Ormsby, and his room will be accessible, completing the quest. Collect the armor from the container inside the room.

The Escape Suit dispenses a smoke bomb at your location if you go below 30% health, allowing for a quick escape. This effect has a 10m cooldown, which can further reduce depending on the Sneak skill.

10 Malpractice

Malpractice is a top-tier Legendary Helmet in The Outer Worlds 2 that scales with the Medical Skill. First, recruit Inez and begin her companion quest “Better than Nature”. You’ll be tasked with bringing samples for Inez’s new graft by defeating either the Skeleton Crabble or the Raptidon Matriarch.

Aim for the Skeleton Crabble and head to the Mysterious Cave in the southwestern part of Paradise Island. Before triggering the boss fight, head to the table behind the Phonotron, and you’ll find Malpractice lying on it. The Helmet allows players to gain 20% damage when Crashing (can scale up to 40% with the Medical skill).

11 Townie Clothing

Collect 10 copies of Science Adventures Quarterly and give them to Redactor Quesnel (located in a house west of Fairfield) to complete the quest and receive the armor.

While the perks of this armor aren’t all that special, the Townie Clothing does make you more mobile and allows you to ignore one incoming attack every 15 seconds, so that counts for something.

The Battle Helm of Ptero-Bane is a stylish Legendary Helmet in The Outer Worlds 2 that you can find on a scarecrow in a corn field, located right behind the Fairfield Clinic. It’s hard to miss if you’re scouring the corn field closely, as the scarecrow will be right in the middle.

The Helmet allows players to be completely invisible while standing still, so if you’re running with a stealth-based build, be sure to grab this Helmet from the scarecrow in The Outer Worlds 2.
