Assassin’s Creed Shadows Fans Can’t Help But React Poorly to the Latest Reveal
If players are looking for a thrilling mix of historical intrigue and high-octane action, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be the game for them. Players will experience the history of Japan and will be able to pick between 2 protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke.
However, many controversies are going around the game, making it a less and less favorable choice. Recently, the developers unveiled Naoe’s parkour movement, which seems to be drawing more criticism than applause.
Players Not Happy with Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Naoe Movement
Parkour has been one of the hallmarks of the Assassin’s Creed series. Players are always looking forward to the next installment to further refine and expand the system to offer a fluid and dynamic experience. Players believed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows would also take it to the next level.
However, players are disappointed after seeing the latest reveal, which focuses on Naoe’s parkour movements. Most fans are disappointed as they expected the movement to be more fluid and filled with emotions. Instead, they are getting what seems to be a step back from the previous title.
The reason players expected more from the female protagonist was because of her training as a ninja. Players thought that her movements would feel natural and immersive, instead, they felt that her movements were repetitive and uninspiring. Disappointed players are taking to the forums and social media to express their frustrations.

Ubisoft Needs to Address These Issues Before Release
Ever since the announcement of the game, Ubisoft has faced backlash about various issues, from the protagonist’s origin to now movement. There has been no official statement addressing the specific criticisms.
However, to regain some of the excitement among the fanbase, Ubisoft needs to show that it is willing to engage with its community and address their feedback or concerns. It remains to be seen how it will handle the situation and whether or not it will consider feedback before the game’s official release.
As the players eagerly wait for further updates on the upcoming game, it’s clear that they are deeply invested in the series’ legacy and want to see the game succeed. In the end, it is not certain whether or not the game will be able to recapture the excitement that fans had for the previous titles.
