Astro Bot: High-Suction Hero Collectible Locations

The High-Suction Hero collectible locations in Astro Bot are scattered in some difficult-to-reach areas in the level. While it may take some deft handling of the controller, we’ve created a comprehensive list of where you can get every collectible at this level.

While the level is based in space, you don’t have the luxury of antigravity to get you across gaps. However, there is a gadget you’ll be using that you may have had experience with in previous levels. Using this to clear gaps and following our Lost Galaxy collectible locations guide will ensure you get 100%.

High-Suction Hero Collectible Locations: Bot 1

Astro Bot’s first collectible in this level can be found after you get the Elephant Trunk backpack. This gadget allows you to suck up certain materials and then use them to make various kinds of platforms, and you make use of it to take down bosses like the Tama Trio as well. You will get this at the start of the level and will soon find the first bot to collect.

The bot will be in the path of your progress, so you don’t need to look around too much. After you take out the giant flower boss by hitting the bulb, a steam vent will open in its place. Create a stone platform using the Elephant Trunk and you’ll be lifted to the next area where you will see a bot trying to climb over a rock ledge.

Create a platform near the bot, get on top of the ledge, and then give the bot a quick punch to have it join your party and find the first of many collectibles from this Astro Bot guide.

Bot 2

The second bot can be found in the area where you first get to use the yellow slime to create bouncy platforms. Defeat the UFO keeping the slime platform hostage and then use the slime to get to the higher area.

Here you will spot a second UFO flying along the length of the platform with the second bot dangling below it. Create a bouncing bubble and get to the platform up on the left-hand side and then time your jump to be able to punch the UFO mid-air and free the Militant Mutant bot.

Bot 3

The next of the High-Suction Hero collectible locations will come by after a fair bit of platforming. You will now also gain access to the blue slime which allows you to make ice slides midair and gain more elevation in your jumps.

After navigating the level’s challenges, you’ll come to a platform offering all three variations of slime to use and a revolving satellite in the distance on the left side of the screen. The bot you need to find is at the top of this satellite, and not the first time you find a bot in space.

You can reach him by collecting some slime, we suggest the yellow one for the added bounce, and then making your way to the first platform on the left. Take out the enemy and then time your jump to land on one of the revolving platforms of the satellite.

Your slime reserve would be low at this point, so top it up with the version of your choice and then use the platforms to get to the top of the satellites and make the Independent Mutant bot join your Astro Bot party.

Bot 4

The second last bot in the game can be found after you reach the platform with the rocket, found after the section with the many spinning satellites. Once you’re on the platform, get under the rocket and you’ll spot the bot stuck in the rocket’s thrusters. Simply jump and punch it to make it join your party.

Bot 5

The final bot in the level can be found by ascending the ramparts of the rocket. In the first section, you’ll have to use the gray slime acquired from the enemy beside the rocket. On the first level, you’ll have to take out an orange enemy, allowing you to use the slime that creates bouncing bubbles.

Use these bubbles to climb higher and you will spot a neon arrow sign pointing you to the left. The bot will be on the platform behind this sign and can be reached with a simple jump.

High-Suction Hero Collection Locations: Puzzle Piece 1

The first puzzle piece in the level can be found right after you find the first bot. As you keep ascending the various levels of rocky platform areas, you’ll come across another large flower enemy. Take this one out by creating a couple of platforms and then hitting it on the head.

Another steam vent will open up under this enemy’s position and then you can use this to climb to the last section of this ascent. As you get to the top of the steam vent, you’ll see the Astro Bot Puzzle Piece hovering in front of you. Jump towards it and create another platform to make sure you grab it.

Puzzle Piece 2

After collecting the third bot in the level, look out from your position atop the satellite and spot the second puzzle piece at the end of a constantly turning cylindrical platform. To get this piece, you could make your way back to the platform with all three slime variations.

Or you can use the leftover slim in your Elephant Trunk to make your way over to this area and jump off while collecting it. You may respawn in the process, but it will take under a minute to get you back to where you were and find the rest of the High-Suction Hero collectible locations.
