Game Science has patched Black Myth: Wukong with significant performance buffs and experience improvements, but it might take a while to download.

The patch itself is a whopping 93.3GB, with the dev encouraging people to reinstall the game if the patch fails due to insufficient storage or the like. It also notes that it may make any mods downloaded have issues, which is par for the course for updates and mods.

Beyond the optimization, you also get improved readability in what’s cleared from the Load Journey interface, fixing text issues, and improved localization.

In our review, we said: “Black Myth: Wukong is a technical feat that deserves attention. Not only does it deliver on outstanding graphical settings, it also sends players to different locations and environments that all look just as stunning as the last.”
