Black Ops 6 Accused of ‘Stealing’ 1 FPS Mechanic From The Finals
Black Ops 6 is set to be released in a few months and the gaming community has high hopes for this year’s entry. In the past, the beloved first-person shooter franchise has undergone a few hefty creative changes and the most recent game mechanic has the player base scratching their heads.
It is common for each new installment to feature some improvements down to the gameplay and mechanics. The gaming community fell in love with the competitive nature of the multiplayer lobbies, and this new feature will be a massive game-changer that will have severe ramifications for the franchise’s future.
Black Ops 6 Will Allow Players to See Enemies Through Walls Upon Respawning
The franchise has become a staple in the gaming industry after years of hard work from Activision Blizzard pushing it to become better and remain relevant in the public eye. Unfortunately, the past few days have been rough for the upcoming game, especially after all the major cutscenes from the Black Ops 6 story mode leaked online months before launch.
Treyarch and Raven Software spent the last four years working on the project and having all of their years of hard work be shared without their consent is an unfortunate hand to be dealt with. The gaming community knew this game had great potential, especially with the online multiplayer mode, and new leaks have surfaced and one would consider it wall hacking in a legal sense.

The multiplayer lobbies have earned a reputation of being the home of the most toxic players in the community and this new feature will stoke the flames even hotter. Players like to recall the massive downgrade of the revamped UAV system in Modern Warfare 2 where players will have to work harder to locate enemy players rather than pinpointing their whereabouts after firing a shot.
It would appear that omnimovement, the advanced movement system, is not the only ambitious improvement the game developers have prepared for this year’s entry with the ability to see enemies through walls. This will likely shake up the dynamic in multiplayer matches and make things harder, especially in competitive matches.
Call of Duty Has Forever Changed the First-Person Shooter Landscape With These New Features
Introducing a new legitimate wall-hacking feature is expected to pose a significant challenge to the gaming community. Many players are confident that hackers will likely take advantage of this new advanced capability, creating a sense of unease among the gaming community.
This new feature will most likely lead to frustration and dissatisfaction among players, as it becomes exploited and contributes to a negative experience for others. Seeing enemy players through walls for a few seconds after respawning is a great advantage; however, the developers may have bitten more than they could chew.
Players will feel unsafe knowing that they won’t be able to mask their location from enemies for a brief second. Perhaps the developers wanted a new game mechanic to spice up the multiplayer experience and make each match far more competitive.
It would be wise for Raven Software and Treyarch to make minor adjustments. The gaming community will not hesitate to call them out and make them feel seen.
