Black Ops 6 Called to Fix the Longtime Problem That Has Plagued Fans for Years, But We’re Not Holding Our Breath
Black Ops 6 is the upcoming entry in Activision’s FPS series. It comes after Modern Warfare 3 received a lot of criticism for its multiplayer, matchmaking, and campaign.
Fans are incredibly excited about the game and think it will be what the series needs to redeem itself. However, the latest title will also ship with the same long-running issue as the rest of the newer titles.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Possibly Bloated File Size Is a Major Concern for Fans
One objective issue plaguing the franchise’s recent installments is how much space recent games require on one’s storage. While it is true that storage is now much cheaper than it once was, it is still a hassle for fans to download such humongous titles.
A significant issue with such magnanimous storage requirements is that most players, regardless of their platform, do not play only one game. A player raised this issue on the upcoming game’s subreddit, too.
This is what the player said:
It seems like there was scope for subjectivity with the problem faced by the user. This is because some other users pointed out their opinions, which, despite not being conflicting, did leave some room for interpretation:

Some other users also wanted to confirm if the infamous Call of Duty HQ, which has been criticized repeatedly for its implementation, didn’t allow users to install selected components of the game’s ecosystem:

One Redditor also shared a workaround for this and suggested that deleting Call of Duty HQ will help save around 70 gigabytes of space:

When one considers the quadruple-A price tag for games in the franchise, the matchmaking issues, and the complaints of cheating, it doesn’t paint a good picture of Activision and, by extension, Microsoft.
The Call of Duty Storage Situation Shows How Little Activision Cares About Its Players
From predatory microtransaction practices, which include pay-to-win weapons, to focusing only on game modes affected by those microtransactions. Activision has much to answer for; players leave no opportunity to let that be known.
This argument from the players is further strengthened when various experiences of Activision’s support being inconsiderate are shared on the game’s subreddit:

Players are flustered about everything with the series, and the upcoming game is the publisher’s best shot to make things right. What do you think are the most significant reasons the franchise has witnessed a plummet in quality? What is it that they can improve?
