Black Ops 6’s Liberty Falls May Not be the Zombie Savior We Expected as Fans Lash Out

Many details of Black Ops 6 are being revealed at the moment, some of them are worth looking out for while some others have just brought more disappointment upon itself.

The game is set to have a fall release on October 25, 2024 and some of the promotional content has managed to generate a lot of hype that has worked in the favour of the game while some of it, including the new zombie world map has brought nothing but disappointment.

Fans Want The Golden Days Of Call Of Duty: Black Ops Back

Black Ops 6’s zombie mode is by far the most well thought out and detailed in terms of scope and scale; however, there is one aspect of it that is so bothersome that it has become hard to overlook it.

Zombie mode in the Black Ops series has always been a big selling point for the games, as it gives players a fresh and exciting playground to fight crazy zombies in, beyond the main story.

This zombie mode is famous for it’s visually stunning graphical representation of the post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world with some of the coolest map designs of all time.

However, that has seemed to have been taken a back seat lately with Black Ops 6. The zombie mode in the game is not nearly as good as its predecessors, and the same was confirmed yesterday when the trailer for Liberty Falls was released, which showcased the map on which we will see zombie battles happening.

The map quickly became a subject to heavy criticism as fans claimed that this mode is not nearly as good as some of the previous maps from other games and that it was lazy of the developer to have opted for a basic map template that can vaguely be seen drawing its influence from Last of Us, except the detailing that went into that game.

Liberty Falls Is Not Nearly As Good As Revelations

Revelations is the twenty-fourth zombie map and the final map that featured in Black Ops 3. It was released a few years ago in 2018 and immediately became a fan favourite as opposed to the most recent release from Call of Duty called Liberty Falls.

Revelations had an eerie and neon look to it that complimented the horror of the zombie mode, and all of that was taken away with the plain and simple map design of Liberty Falls.

The recent map falls short and lacks the horrific elements that make a zombie land feel authentic and real. The post-apocalyptic feel is missing from it, and that is what is making fans lash out.

People want to see the good old days of Call of Duty again, as the franchise has significantly dropped in providing quality content to its players. What do you think about Liberty Falls? Let us know in the comments below.
