Bloodborne Hits PC as Fans Take the Decision Out of Sony and Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Control

Bloodborne is one of those games whose legacy will endure for decades. While its exclusivity adds to the value, it is the hauntingly beautiful world, combat, and gameplay overall that has cemented it as a classic in the action RPG genre.

Players have desired an official remake or a remaster for next-gen consoles, or better yet, a PC port so the full glory of this atmospheric Soulsborne title is displayed. Thanks to the undisputed efforts of modders, fans are now ever closer to experiencing Bloodborne in 60 FPS on PC.

Modders Bringing Bloodborne in 60 FPS on PC

The most recent video of Bloodborne running at 60 FPS on PC has sent shockwaves through the gaming world. The short clip, capped at just over one minute shows the city of Yharnam darker and more detailed than ever before.

While some previous attempts were hindered by instability, the new iteration looks and feels solid as players revel in short combat shown in the video.

All thanks to the famous modder, Lance McDonald, fans are closer to a 60 FPS Bloodborne on PC than ever before.

While Sony hasn’t made any official news on the game, fans have taken the IP, apparently, into their own hands and are fighting for an official remake harder than ever.

The new video has made fans quite happy as Hidetaka Miyazaki and Sony are left to respond with some positive reinforcement on the recent development.

For many fans, seeing the game in 60 FPS is a dream come true. Once the video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) it took less than a blink of an eye to go viral.

One fan has said that they could cry out of sheer joy after seeing the video and has credited Lance McDonald for doing such tremendous work.

More fans are sharing the sentiment with one fan saying it is beautiful and they are glad that the port is working.

Another fan has said that it looks awesome, and they are also glad that they finally got the game in 60 FPS to work.

Furthermore, one player hopes that Sony will officially do the remaster in 60 FPS in the future.

While these and more comments lament Bloodborne not being on PC even almost a decade after the original release, it only increases its value and paints the picture of how groundbreaking this game was.

The universal acclaim behind the game lives to this day and will undoubtedly continue as the atmosphere and dark aesthetics bring the horror to life.
