Boost Your Magic: The Gathering Collection With These Early Black Friday Discounts

Holiday sales are a great time to beef up your Magic: The Gathering card collection, and over on Amazon, you can take advantage of some early Black Friday deals on numerous pre-made commander decks, bundle sets, and booster boxes.

Fans of the Commander format can grab a few pre-made decks at a discount. The Murders at Karlov Manor four-deck bundle is $125 (was $139), and includes the Deadly Disguise, Revenant Recon, Deep Clue Sea, and Blame Game decks. If you’re looking to buy single decks, the Blame Game commander deck is available as a standalone release for $41 (was $47.40), while the Outlaws of Thunder Junction: Most Wanted commander deck is the cheapest of the group at just $34.49 (was $47.30). Unlike Standard format 60-card decks, these Commander decks include 100 cards, none of which are duplicates, and are built around powerful “commander” creatures. So even if you’re not a Commander player, these deals are still worth checking out since you’re getting 100 unique cards per deck.

Those who prefer building their decks can scoop up a bunch of cards at once thanks to several bundle and booster box deals. The Murders at Karlov Manor Bundle is down to $32.49 (was $38) and comes with nine Play Boosters–which include 14 playable cards with at least one guaranteed rare or mythic-rare card each. The bundle also has a foil alternate art card, 30 land cards, a card storage box, and accessories.

If you want to grab as many cards as possible, the Murders at Karlov Manor and Outlaws of Thunder Junction Play Booster Boxes are both on sale and contain 504 cards each, spread across 36 booster packs. There’s also the Battle for Baldur’s Gate Draft Booster Box with 480 cards and the March of the Machine Set Booster Box with 360 cards.

Almost all of the discounted bundles and booster boxes are for sets within the current Standard Format rotation, meaning they are playable in official tournaments and events. The only exception is the Battle for Baldur’s Gate booster box–though you don’t need to worry about that if you just play casually with friends, collect for fun, or play one of the many non-standard MTG formats.

Be sure to grab these Magic: The Gathering sets while you can–not only are the deals only available until December 2, but several others have already sold out. Check the list below to see all the Magic: The Gathering early Black Friday deals that are still available at Amazon.

If you’re looking for more savings, be sure to browse Amazon’s entire early Black Friday sale, which includes price cuts to video games, board games, electronics, and more. You can also expect even more new deals once Amazon’s official Black Friday sale goes live on November 21, so keep track of GameSpot’s Black Friday deals hub for the latest discounts.
