Brisk temperatures are expected throughout the week
CHILLICOTHE ― Those in Ross County should prepare for bitterly cold weather this week.
A surge of arctic air is expected to bring freezing temperatures to the area, with some days peeking into the negatives. This weather should begin Saturday night and continue through Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast shows weather peaking up to 41 degrees on Saturday before the temperature dwindles down to a low of 17 with a small chance of snow.
Sunday will be sunny, with a high near 22, with a low of -2 degrees at night.
Monday will bring a high of 8 degrees and a low around -3.
Tuesday should be mostly sunny, with a high of 11 and a low close to -6 degrees.
Wednesday will be sunny, and have a high near 19 degrees and a low near 10.
Thursday will be partly sunny with a high up to 31 degrees.
