Bunnings Warehouse bringing back the sell-out Bluey garden gnomes

Fans of the hugely-popular cartoon Bluey will be part of the weekend rush to Bunnings Warehouse this weekend after sold-out gnomes from the show were re-launched.

This weekend’s release will include all four of the original gnomes: Hecuba, Jeremy, Tony and the Meditation gnome.

Bunnings is aware of the gnome frenzy which sparked price gouging during the previous release and the hardware giant is limiting customers to four gnomes each in an attempt to make things “as fair as possible”.

After being wiped off shelves faster than you could watch a Bluey minisode the $19 gnome’s were in such high demand, four were seen being sold online for $20,000.

The official Bluey TV Instagram account announced the return of the gnomes in a post yesterday.

Bluey fans call the gnomes their “husband” after the Hammerbarn episode of Bluey which featured Gerald and Hecuba the gnomes being called “my husband” by the famous Bluey and Bingo as they adventured through the hardware store.

Bunnings also announced the arrival of the garden gnomes via Instagram with a video featuring the gnomes in different sections of Bunnings.

Followers were quick to see the news and comment their excitement on both posts.

“Fingers crossed I can get one this time🥰😆” one follower wrote.

“Time to get me a husband!!!” another added.

One follower joked “somebody secure the Gnomes!!” referring to the theft which occurred in gardens after the first release earlier this year.

“Highly recommend people find a way to attach an air tag or something equivalent after so many people were getting theirs stolen” another wrote.

Bunnings says it is expecting “a line out the door” this weekend for the gnomes.
