Developer Pocketpair has even brought the game to PlayStation 5 consoles as well.

What’s surprising is that the game is also coming to mobile phones soon! Thanks to a new licensing agreement between Pocketpair and Krafton, Palworld will soon make its debut on mobile devices. However, it’s going to face an uphill battle against Riot Games’ most anticipated project, Valorant Mobile.

Palworld Mobile Will Face off Against Riot’s Highly-Anticipated Game

Valorant currently stands as the face of the shooter genre. It’s one of the most unique IPs under Riot Games’ belt and attracts millions of players around the globe every month. Recently, the developer expanded the game’s horizon with a release on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5.

The only place that Riot still hasn’t tapped into with Valorant is the mobile market. However, that’s set to change soon. Riot is working on developing Valorant Mobile to offer the same competitive experience as PC and console players to an even bigger audience. Although we still don’t have a release date for this project, it’s rumored to drop sometime next year.

Krafton is one of the leading developers of mobile games. It has given us some legendary titles on the go, such as PuBG Mobile. So, its partnership with Palworld won’t be a disappointing one. We can expect to see the full-fledged version of the game in all its glory on mobile devices soon.

Although Palworld’s mobile port still doesn’t have a release date, if Krafton and Pocketpair decide to release the title in 2025, they certainly won’t be able to escape the wrath of Valorant’s mobile release. As a franchise, Valorant is much bigger in comparison and will certainly steal the spotlight from Krafton and Pocketpair’s collaboration.

This could lead to lower sales for Palworld‘s mobile port and reduced players, which it certainly can’t afford due to its ongoing lawsuits against Nintendo. Let’s hope Krafton and Pocketpair make a smart decision when it comes to the port’s release date. Otherwise, it might prove to be a bust.

Palworld Mobile Debut Confirmed Amid Nintendo Tensions

There’s no denying the fact that there are some Pokemon inspirations in Palworld, but Nintendo alleges developer Pocketpair is actually guilty of infringing on various patents held by the gaming giant.

Pocketpair has responded to Nitendo’s allegations and claims that the studio still hasn’t been made aware of what exactly they have infringed. The developers believe that the lawsuit won’t have any kind of effect on Palworld‘s roadmap for the future. The game is already a big success on PlayStation, even though it isn’t available in Japan.

What’s interesting is the fact that Pocketpair has revealed that the game has more players in Japan than any other country except China, suggesting that the title might already start to feel the effects of the lawsuit.

Although the game’s future is still in the abyss, the confirmation of a mobile port suggests that Pocketpair is on the right track, and the game is still here to stay with us.
