It’s what keeps you in the game by way of accessing new areas and upgrades. It’s also what you’re rewarded with for holding out against the relentless hordes of zombies you fight against.

Here’s how you can get it quickly and maximize your gains to make yourself powerful as fast as possible.

How to Farm Essence in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The way to get Black Ops 6 Essence is by killing zombies, so the fastest way of stacking up on Essence is by taking down as many of these creatures as fast as possible.

If you’re confident with your shooting skills, try executing headshots since they increase your Essence per kill.

Equipping yourself with powerful gear and managing your resources also means you won’t need to waste Essence on healing items. You’ve got to spend some Essence to make more Essence, essentially.

If you’re really itching for some Essence and aren’t afraid of a challenge, you can activate the Rampage Inducer in the starting area. This device will increase zombie spawn rates, meaning you’ll be raking in more Essence by the minute.

It’s best used after you’ve gathered solid weapons and perks to keep the zombie hordes under control. It isn’t the easiest way of farming Essence, but if you’re confident in your loadout and/or are accompanied by a solid squad, then there’s no harm in giving it a shot since it’s well worth the rewards.

How to Get Essence Quickly in Black Ops 6

Some zombies might drop a glowing green item on the ground, which are powerups. These temporary boosts, like Bonus Points and Double Points, are perfect for making Essence farming go a little faster.

Bonus Points give you a quick Essence boost, while Double Points doubles your Essence gains for every takedown during its duration. Timing this effect to coincide with a Rampage Inducer is a great source of Essence.

If you want an even bigger boost, look out for Dark Aether Essence Vials, which are rare drops from elite zombies. These vials have a lot of Essence in them. The best time to hunt elite zombies is during mid to late waves, as they’ll be more likely to drop these vials as you progress through the rounds.

During this time, elite zombies are also more likely to drop orange keys that can unlock Legendary loot, so you’re hitting two birds with one stone here. It might not be the wisest time to activate the Rampage Inducer at this point unless you’re extremely confident you can survive.
