Call of Duty Fans Start Demanding Black Ops 6 Remove a Multiplayer Feature That Makes it Look Like a Cheap Mobile Clone

Since its release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s multiplayer mode has been widely criticized. Most complaints are about technical and gameplay issues but this time, fans want the developers to remove one particular feature that has been a part of various Call of Duty games in the past. After every multiplayer match, the best play of the game clip is played followed by the winner’s circle. Fans believe that this feature is pointless and developers should just get rid of it.

Many pointed out that this makes Black Ops 6 look like a cheap mobile clone. The feature has been around for some time now, even games like Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare had this feature, however, this time, the execution is terrible. In most cases, the emotes don’t work and player models just go back to blank reference poses without any animations applied to them.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Fans Want Developers To Remove The Winner’s Circle Feature

A gamer on the r/blackops6 subreddit has proposed the idea of removing winner’s circle from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, also pointing out that the emotes have been broken for weeks. It’s safe to say that most of the community supports this idea as the winner’s circle in Black Ops 6 is indeed very buggy and fails to serve its purpose in most cases.

Can we just get rid of the Winner’s Circle all together?

The best play clip and winner’s circle can be particularly annoying when players are using limited 2XP tokens. It can take a significant amount of time, giving players very little play time with the token activated. The winner’s circle makes Black Ops 6 feel like a cheap knockoff mobile game, so the developers must rework this entire feature.

Winner’s Circle Encourages In-Game Purchases

The winner’s circle is indeed an unnecessary addition to the game, but it’s hard to say if this feature will ever get removed. The winner’s circle is probably the best way for players to show off their skins and emotes. This, in a way, also encourages other players to try out these skins by spending money. With the integration of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the winner’s circle feature is now also a part of Warzone.

Since 2015, Activision has held a patent that allows them to match players who have expensive skins with low-ranked players to encourage people to buy more skins. It is clear that this application filed by Activision Publishing Inc. was approved, however, there is no proof that this was applied to the game.
