Call of Duty Legend Wants Black Ops 6 Fans to Complain in a Non-Toxic Manner If They Find Bugs and Flaws

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has just been released. After completing the promising Modern Warfare trilogy, Activision is now looking to revive its Black Ops series. The last game in the series, Black Ops Cold War, didn’t get a proper reception from the fans, which is why all the honors lay on the shoulders of the recently launched title.

However, things are not going very well for BO6 as the game is heavily criticized for the new movement mechanics and launch maps. Although, one legend from the franchise has requested the fans to “have fun” with the game, rather than being toxic.

Mile Leslie Wants Fans to Be Less Toxic Regarding Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

After 14 years of the first game in the series, Black Ops 6 is here, with overhauled movement mechanics that were destined to change the way people used to play Call of Duty. Things didn’t go the way they were supposed to.

As a result, the game is facing heavy backlash from the fans. However, legendary developer Mile Leslie, who has been working for the franchise for 16 long years, wants players to “have fun” and “create new memories” instead of just thrashing the game. Here’s what he stated (via 9news.com.au):

If you see something wrong, or you see something you didn’t like, know that there are hundreds of devs that have thought about it and poured their heart and soul into it. We really hope that everyone, day one, has the most fun they can with their friends and create new memories.

The 2010 release of Call of Duty: Black Ops, which drew heavily from CIA operations and Cold War events, set a new benchmark for realism and historical immersion. Technology breakthroughs like motion capture and new game engines made it possible for more inventive gameplay and storytelling, which was a game-changing moment.

More Than the Maps and the Omni-Movement, One Aspect of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Is Heavily Criticized

Recently, a dedicated fan shared his frustration on Reddit regarding all the flaws of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. In this post, he talked about the issues regarding the BO6 maps, gun levels, new movement mechanics, perks, SBMM, and many more.

However, more than the criticisms regarding the maps and Omni-movement, the community is disgusted with the TTK/TTD of the game. Now, what is that? TTK, time to kill, is the amount of time it takes from when you first hit your enemies until they die. TTD, time to death, is the time from when you start to take damage until you die.

According to that fan, both TTK and TTD are hugely inconsistent in the game. For example, in one match, you can survive after taking hoards of bullets. On the other hand, in another match, you die instantly after just a couple of shots, but the enemy does not die even after taking the whole magazine. Even the TTD is so bad that the enemy has an ample amount of time to turn around and kill you.
