Call of Duty Players are Done With a Black Ops 6 Map That Has the ‘Laziest, Most Uninspired Design’

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 right now is the hottest topic in the gaming world. As the last Black Ops didn’t get much appreciation from the fans, the recently launched title has a huge responsibility on its shoulders. Treyarch also left no stone unturned to execute that responsibility.

That is why the game features overhauled movement mechanics, which is absolutely new in the franchise. However, things didn’t go the way as they were supposed to, as this new mechanic is heavily criticized. But this is not the only aspect of the game that is getting backlash.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 might feature great campaign missions, but the launch maps of this game are pretty bad. Some fans are claiming that these 16 launch maps of the game are the worst among any game in the franchise.

However, there are other COD maps that are even worse than the current map pool of BO6. In this map pool, Babylon is the one that has been criticized the most. Heirloom is another one, which is pretty poor as well. This map features a lazy and uninspired design.

Actually, none of the launch maps offers something new, something innovative, that can carry forward the legacy of the franchise. Whenever we hear about the best COD maps, it always starts with Nuketown or Killhouse, but never starts with the likes of Babylon, Heirloom, or any other recent COD maps. This is because the newer maps never offered that trust. Also, all the recently launched maps are repetitive and don’t have any uniqueness.

Heirloom is Literally Just a Lane

The sheer disgust from the fans clearly states the situation of the Black Ops 6 maps. Developers didn’t implement any norm to stop the campers, there is no importance of map knowledge anymore after the arrival of Omni-movement and all the maps are dull. Here’s what the community is stating:

According to a fan, Heirloom is not a multiplayer map, it’s just a lane.

As per another fan, Treyarch literally relied on Nuketown to carry BO6 as the new maps are utterly horrible.

This player has explained the setting of the room in just a single sentence.

This fan can’t believe the COD development team actually let go of this map design in the actual game.

Fans have suggested that Treyarch should have incorporated some maps from the previous Black Ops games so that the game would be fresh and would offer something that almost looks new. All-time classics like Grid, WMD, Summit, and Berlin Wall from Black Ops (2010) would have easily done the job.
