Clothing company behind Oodie fined $101,280 by ACCC for not including fire safety labels

The company behind popular clothing brand Oodie has paid $100,000 in fines after the consumer watchdog claimed they failed to include flammable warning labels on some of its kids’ range.

Regulators from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission investigated Davie Clothing Pty Ltd following a customer complaint — which allegedly uncovered six styles of the kids’ beach Oodie without fire labels fixed to the clothing or on its website.
