Cops probe horror fall in Sydney’s west after woman left with critical injuries
An urgent investigation is underway after a woman was rushed to hospital with critical injuries on Australia Day following a fall from a second story balcony in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to the high-rise apartment block on James Ruse Dr in Rosehill about 5.30pm after a woman was found in the street with multiple injuries.

Police and paramedics attended and administered first aid before the woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, was rushed to Westmead hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has since been established as police probe the circumstances surrounding the fall, with a officers speaking with a number of people at the unit block.
A police spokesperson said on Monday that no arrests had been made in relation to the incident, which was “being treated as suspicious until proven otherwise”.
It comes less than a month after newlywed nurse Deekshya Dahal died after she fell from a seventh-story balcony in Parramatta in an unrelated incident.
The Australian-Nepalese woman suffered catastrophic injuries when she plunged from a high-rise balcony on River Rd in the early hours on January 2.
