Shroud started his career as a professional gamer with Counter-Strike and then later moved to full-time streaming before joining Valorant as a pro and returning back to streaming. His current interests seem to lie with the up-and-coming Marvel Rivals, which is getting a lot of attention in the competitive market space.

Marvel Rivals might soon be entering Esports

During a recent stream, Shroud talked about raising $10 million to form an Esports org for Marvel Rivals with Tenz, a former Valorant pro player. If the same turns out to be true, then the hype this game is going to generate will be immense.

Tenz is the most popular Valorant player to date. He is one of the most skilled players to ever play the game and has a massive number of followers who are huge fans of his skills as an FPS player.

Marvel Rivals is yet to enter the Esports scenario, and if Shroud manages to boost its arrival along with Tenz, it might also pave the way for other organizations to chime in. During the Twitch stream, Shroud said:

So yeah, my goal is to raise a million dollars, and who knows, maybe in a million dollars, raising to see judges, maybe I’ll make an org with Tarik; who knows? Tyson, Tenz, who knows?

Marvel Rivals is one of the most popular games on the market currently. It is always a blessing for any live service competitive game to enter the world of Esports since it helps strengthen the community of the game as a whole.

Marvel Rivals rose to popularity at a rapid rate, and the next logical step for the game would be to establish its stronghold in the competitive landscape by entering into the world of Esports. The game has been smashing records ever since its release.

Shroud might be a great presence at the moment since he is talking about opening up an organization with his other friends who are as popular, if not more so, than him. Esports will help strengthen and expand the game’s community’s reach and enable further developments on it.

However, nothing can be said for sure at the moment since there have been no official announcements regarding it from any end. We will get a clearer picture once Shroud announces things officially or unofficially through this stream; until then, Marvel Rivals fans should just hold tight and wait for the good news.
