Disney hikes subscription prices across the board

Disney is once again hiking the prices of its subscription service across the board, making even its ad-supported tier $9.99 a month. This will also apply to its ad-free, yearly plan, which will now cost $159.99.

Emails have been sent out to subscribers notifying customers of the price hike, letting them do what they please, be it continue cancel or continue to pay the free. Its ad-free tier spiked from $13.99 to $15.99.

This also doesn’t exclude packages, like its Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN bundle. Its Hulu and Disney Plus bundle will see a spike to $10.99 for its ad-supported tier while its ad-free tier remains at $19.99, for example.

Beyond Disney Plus, though the Mouse House is also raising the prices for Hulu and ESPN Plus as a standalone service. ESPN Plus’ ad-supported tier will now cost $11.99 while Hulu will join Disney Plus, charging subscribers $9.99 for the ad-supported tier. Its ad-free tier will also shift its price to $18.99.
