The landslide came after Tropical Storm Trami dumped heavy rain in Bicol on Tuesday (October 22), killing at least 26 people and forcing more than 150,000 to flee their homes in the Philippines.
Most of the deaths from the storm over the past few days were due to drowning and landslides in Bicol, officials said.
Reuters was able to confirm the location of the video from road layout, nearby buildings, positioning of mountain, and a church seen in the video matched file and satellite imagery of the area. Reuters was able to verify the date of the videos through the original file metadata.
