Dragon Age: The Veilguard Might Have Genitals, But BioWare Won’t Tell Us

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to be a ‘mature RPG’ according to BioWare, but the developer won’t confirm the existence of genitals. What we do know is that characters can at least go half-naked, thanks to a report written by GameInformer.

During a recent playtest, breasts were displayed front and centre, but BioWare became a little shy when talking about bottom-level nudity, refusing to say whether or not we’ll be seeing nether regions in the upcoming and highly anticipated RPG.

Self-Discovery

In the report published by GameInformer, BioWare’s Corrine Busche explains that players will need to discover for themselves the depth of nudity in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. BioWare’s RPG titles have always been a little more mature than the run-of-the-mill franchises on the market, and in recent years, more mainstream titles have pushed the boundaries where ‘explicit’ content is concerned, so the developer could follow suit and promote full-frontal nudity, no questions asked.

It was also confirmed by BioWare that Dragon Age’s relationship mechanics have been injected with a touch of innovation. Not only can you romance your companions, but they can fall in love with one another, which makes for a spicy twist on the established paradigm. Can we expect awkward love triangles to emerge as we explore The Veilguard?

All signs point to Dragon Age: The Veilguard being steamy, romantic, and emotional. It’ll be interesting to know if the game releases with a photo mode attached…
