EA āconfidentā Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will release this year, itās claimed
EA and Bioware are reportedly confident that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be released this year.
Thatās according to Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb, speaking on the Game Mess Decides podcast with co-host Mike Minotti.
āI suspect (Dragon Age: Dreadwolf) will probably pop up in the summer,ā Grubb claimed. āI donāt know when itāll be shown, but I assume itāll be shown sometime this summer.ā
On the potential release window for the game, Grubb said, āIt will be released this year, last I heard. [EA] are pretty confident about that. That doesnāt mean itās a guarantee; it could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year.ā
A āfull revealā of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is scheduled for the summer, according to EA.Ā
Last October, BioWare general manager Gary McKay said that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf had reached alpha status and was playable āfrom the opening scenes of the first mission to the very endā.
He went on to explain that the team was focused on the gameās pacing, the various relationships that players will have with other characters, as well as ānarrative cohesionā.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf gameplay leaked online in February, offering the first look at the RPG sequel in action.
BioWare said in August that it was laying off āapproximatelyā 50 employees as part of a shift to becoming āa more agile and more focused studioā.
