EA Sports FC 25 Competitor UFL Hosts Open Beta This Weekend

XTEN Limited and Strikerz Inc. have announced its second open beta weekend for the upcoming free-to-play soccer title UFL.

Running from August 2-4, this open beta will be available for everyone on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to the developers, this upcoming beta introduces new in-game features for players, and has an “over 80% quality improvement” from the first open beta.

“It’s gratifying to realize that we’re on the same wavelength as our community,” Strikerz Inc. CEO We can’t wait to showcase how far we’ve come since the first Beta with this new version of the game as we get closer to the launch.”

As far as what the upcoming UFL open beta will have to offer, players will be able to play the main online mode against other players around the world. There will also be an offline local match option for solo or local multiplayer.

The first UFL open beta featured was held in June, and “more than 1.3 million installations” with over 5.5 million matches played. If you took part in the first open beta, your created club from the event will be available to you. That said, there is the possibility that some assets were removed for balancing, in which case “appropriate compensation will be implemented”.

Lastly, the game will support cross-play between Xbox and PlayStation during both the beta and at full launch. The game’s full global release is expected to be announced later this year.
