Strengthening the Single Market – Report by Enrico Letta

Starting around 18.00, former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta will present his report on modernising the EU’s internal market, with a focus on supporting a fair digital and green transition, security, fostering jobs, cohesion, and social policy. A debate between MEPs will follow.

Revised rules to improve European airspace management

From around 19.30, plenary will review the reform of Single European Sky rules to introduce better airspace management by optimising flight routes and reducing flight delays. The final adoption of the new legislation will be confirmed on Tuesday.

International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Immediately after the plenary opening, EP President Metsola will mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, 17 October, after which will follow a debate among MEPs.
