Erie County restaurant inspections for Oct. 31-Nov. 6, 2024

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Oct. 31 through Thursday.

3 critical violations

Amigo Taqueria & Botanas, 5630 Peach St. (An employee’s beverage container was observed in a food preparation area; Sanitizer was not registering any concentration; Ready-to-eat food prepared in the food facility and held for more than 24 hours is not being date-marked.) Also one noncritical violation. Monday

Papa John’s, 1713 E. 38th St. (Container full of pepperoni slices was discarded that was dated 10/31/2024; Containers of meats and vegetable container found without labeled to making sure it is within seven days usage; too much sanitizer being used in bowl sink.) Tuesday

2 critical violations

Vertical Jump Park, 2088 Interchange Road, Millcreek Township. (Spray bottles found without labels; food safety manager certification must be obtained by a person in charge.) Also one noncritical violation. Tuesday

1 critical violation

Sportsman’s Athletic Club, 2727 W. Eighth St., Millcreek Township. (Several items dated as far back as Oct. 15. Items discarded.) Wednesday

Seneca High School Outdoor Concession Stand, 10770 Wattsburg Road, Greene Township. (Working containers were not marked with the common name of the chemical or nonfood agent.) Nov. 1

Little Caesars, 1332 E. Grandview Blvd. (Food facility does not employee a certified employee as required.) Nov. 1

Tinseltown Mama Rugi’s, 1910 Rotunda Drive, Summit Township. Wednesday
