Everyone is Crying about Neon But Forgetting Another Valorant Agent is in Dire Need of Nerfs Too

In patch 8.11 for Valorant which was rolled out in June, Neon was significantly improved by Riot Games. In the update, the studio claimed that they reworked her slide to make her more combat-ready. They removed all weapon movement error when sliding, and now, it has completely backfired as players have started abusing this. The community is eagerly waiting for a nerf but Neon may have taken away the spotlight from another agent that needs a nerf.

In the same patch 8.11, another agent was buffed to the next level: Iso. When Reyna was nerfed, Iso instantly became the Duelist agent in the game. Riot Games justified the insane buff by claiming that Iso was underperforming across all skill brackets, which was true to some extent, however, the buff he received made him quite overpowered.

Not Just Neon, But Valorant Players Also Want Riot Games To Nerf Iso

In June’s patch 8.11, Iso’s abilities were completely changed but it is his Double Tap ability that makes him the best. Initially, Iso could only perform Double Tap once but it was increased to two, making him a complete powerhouse on the battlefield. The Double Tap gives Iso a strong shield that makes him so powerful that he can withstand a direct hit from Raze’s rocket launcher.

The buff made Iso one of the most powerful agents in the game. Players on Reddit have suggested that there should be a global announcement when Iso triggers Double Tap, to give a heads-up to the enemy team. With so much pressure from the community, we should expect to see a nerf very soon.

Neon Will Also Get Nerfed Very Soon

As of now, the focus is on Neon as her sliding ability has made it impossible for players to fight her. Due to tweaks to her ability, players have good accuracy even when they’re sliding. Currently, players, even inexperienced ones, are rushing to pick her, thanks to Riot Games’ unbalanced buff.

It’s evident that the community is not happy, so we should expect to see Neon getting nerfed very soon. Let’s hope that Riot Games doesn’t nerf Iso and Neon to the ground as they can be entertaining to play with. In the same patch 8.11, Riot Games made changes to Reyna’s abilities but she ended up becoming one of the worst duelists in Valorant.
