Fallout 4 next-gen update now available on PS+ Extra

For all the issues that plagued Fallout 4’s next-gen update to current-gen consoles, one of the most abysmal things to come of it was that not everyone was able to get the update, particularly, the people who got the game from PlayStation Plus Collection. Now, Bethesda has addressed the situation.

In a statement on Twitter, Bethesda says the next-gen update issue has been resolved. Now, “as intended,” subscribers should be able to access the game’s next-gen update no problem. Bear in mind, this is talking about this specific issue, not quite the myriad of other problems that it faces across all platforms.

In case you didn’t know what this update was meant to be, it was largely a way to bring Fallout 4 to the modern consoles with improved graphics, sound, and other quality-of-life improvements missing from the original PS4-era post-apocalyptic action RPG.

Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers have been able to access to game through the PlayStation Plus Collection, a collection of high-profile PS4 games like Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, Until Dawn, Monster Hunter World, etc.
