Fallout Season 2 Could Add This Marvel And Star Wars Actor
Fallout Season 2 is now in production for Prime Video, and it’s now come to light that Kumail Nanjiani is potentially joining the cast for the sophomore season. A new report said Nanjiani will appear in Season 2, but there is no word as to what role he might play, nor is his involvement in the show confirmed.
Reporter Jeff Sneider made the claim this week. Sneider has a track record of accurate reporting on unannounced Hollywood news, and just this week, he reported on David Leitch being in talks to direct the next Ocean’s movie—The Hollywood Reporter subsequently backed up his report. Sneider also accurately reported on the Fantastic Four casting before Marvel made it official. Not every report comes true, though, and it’s always possible that Nanjiani may not actually show up in Fallout Season 2.
Nanjiani, in recent times, has appeared in mega-franchise projects like Marvel’s Eternals and the Star Wars TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi. He’s also known for his funny roles in shows like Portlandia and Silicon Valley. It looks like he’s in the next Naughty Dog game as well.
Nanjiani wouldn’t be the first new cast member for Fallout Season 2. It was previously reported that MaCaulay Culkin was joining the show in the role of a “crazy genius.” Season 2 also brings back Ella Purnell (Lucy), Aaron Moten (Maximus), and the Ghoul (Walter Goggins).
Season 2’s production was delayed due to the Los Angeles wildfires, but is now underway. Season 2 is expected to take viewers to new locations where they will battle Deathclaws.
