SANTAQUIN, Utah (ABC4) — The family of a man who has been missing since Friday, Nov. 22, is asking the public for help finding him.

Tom Galloway, 30, was last seen on Friday, just after 7 a.m. when he left for work. Other than a brief conversation with his brothers around noon that day, his family hasn’t heard from him since Friday either.

“We want to bring him home. But if that’s not possible, we just want to know where he is,” Tom’s parents, Michelle and Dave Galloway, told ABC4.com on Sunday.

Tom’s family said he loves musical theater, his cats, and horror movies. His parents described him as outgoing, animated, and the life of the party.

Tom drives a green Kia Soul with the license plate number T780B. The car has several stickers on the back referencing Harry Potter, Wonder Woman, and The Little Mermaid. Tom also has several identifying tattoos, including Jack Skellington and paper airplanes on his arms.

Friends and family members have spent the past several days searching for Tom near Santaquin, Utah, where he lives. They have also expanded their search further north into Utah and Salt Lake counties.

“He didn’t pack any bags, he didn’t take anything with him,” Michelle Galloway said. “Either he isn’t — wasn’t able to come home because someone harmed him or took him, or he made a really, really, really bad decision that he can’t come back from.”

Anyone with information on Tom’s whereabouts has been asked to contact Santaquin Police and reference case number 24SQ04545.

Tom’s parents said he lost a job he loved back in April. They told ABC4.com that Tom suffers from anxiety and depression — and they said that “those are some mitigating factors.”

“Tom, we love you. We don’t care about where you’ve been or why you’ve been gone, we just want you home,” his mother said.

“So much love, Tom, please … please come home,” his father added.

Tom’s parents have asked people to keep an eye out for Tom and his car. Those searching for Tom have created a Facebook page to provide updates on their efforts.

What to do when speaking to law enforcement about a missing person

More than 600,000 people go missing each year in the United States, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

Here are some suggestions to keep in mind if someone you know goes missing.

Utah officials suggest taking notes on interactions with law enforcement to keep track of details such as officer names, dates and times of interactions, the case number, and what the officers say.

When working with local law enforcement to report a missing person, it is recommended one shares as much information as possible about the missing person, including but not limited to:

Date of birth and age at the time they disappeared.

Detailed physical description (including unique scars or tattoos).
