John Arena “The Guitar Pick Artist” (Red Dot Miami, Artblend Booth 601-602)

During the pandemic, many people discovered new interests and hobbies but California based John Arena discovered he had a very unique talent. He makes mosaics of iconic rock stars out of hundreds, sometimes thousands of guitar picks. Soon he started getting attention from galleries in Miami and NYC and his pieces were selling for thousands of dollars, with growing attention from the musicians themselves.  John’s art piece of Alice Cooper was auctioned for $120,000 at the rocker’s annual Christmas Pudding fundraiser.

Andrea Croteau (Red Dot Miami, K-Art Projects Booth 200)

Andre Croteau creates “luxury friezes” – textile-infused, resin-based canvases that evoke a glossy, shiny sense of life, energy and well-being for those that experience them.  Initially looking for a contemporary sensibility, within which to capture his love for the brilliance of stained glass, Croteau has coined an opulent and organic style that’s infused with an amalgam of color, shine, movement and depth.  Croteau received his formal training at New York’s renowned Fashion Institute of Technology and remained in New York for the majority of his fashion career, creating for such luxury houses as Saks Fifth Avenue, Piero Dimitri Couture, Paul Stuart and Alexander Julian, before relocating to Miami. https://www.andrepaulcroteau.com/
