Four injured in off-duty officer-involved shooting at Twin Peaks
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Four people were injured in an off-duty officer-involved shooting that took place at Twin Peaks Saturday night.
Huntsville Police Chief Kirk Giles said a fight broke out between two groups of people at the restaurant. Chief Giles said an off-duty HPD officer was involved in the shooting.

The chief did not provide any updates on the conditions of the people shot and did not say if there were any other weapons involved or if the officer was injured during the fight.
ALEA is on the scene and will be leading the investigation.
According to HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster, the shooting happened at around 9:50 p.m. He said four people were taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services.
Webster said one person is in critical condition while the other three are still being evaluated.
