Fremantle Dockers part ways with Ethan Stanley after two games in two seasons

Fremantle has delisted winger Ethan Stanley after two games and a season-and-a-half at the club.

Stanley was dropped by Peel Thunder for its grand final victory over East Perth earlier this month, which left the writing on the wall for the 20-year-old.

He follows forwards Matt Taberner and Sebit Kuek and stalwart backman Ethan Hughes in being delisted ahead of next season.

The winger made his debut in round 19 of 2023, just weeks after he was taken by the Dockers in the mid-season rookie draft.

He also played in the club’s upset victory over Geelong at GMHBA Stadium the following week.

Stanley played 22 matches for the Thunder across two seasons.

“These decisions are never easy but the club would like to thank Ethan for his contribution to our club over the past two seasons and we wish him all the best for the future,” Dockers general manager of football Joe Brierty said.
