Ghost of Tsushima’s God of War Armor Location and How to Get It

Ghost of Tsushima has a lot of exciting things to offer if you are an explorer who loves travelling around the map to acquire cool items for your journey. The God of War skin is also available in the game, which can be integrated to the Sakai Clan armor.

However, to acquire this, you would need to travel towards the north-eastern area of the map on Iki Island, which is a little away from the island of Tsushima.

There are many wind shrines scattered around the Iki island, and one such shrine will bless you with a God of War armor and mask. It is fairly easy to reach there once you have located the shrine of ash, which is just one of many forgotten shrines.

Call your horse and travel to the shrine. Here, you will encounter a rather special easter egg. Just beside the shrine, there is a golden hand imprint on the ash tree with an axe stuck to it, referencing God of War. You would then need to read the scroll placed in front of the shrine. Open the scroll, and it will tell you a riddle.

‘Tanks, Covered in Ash—In fall, a tree fruits, which grows from seed to sapling, a stranger and son. Boy, honor your father’s fight. Show him the strength of your blade.’

It is a fairly easy riddle; you would just need to go to your inventory and equip the Sakai Clan armor, then swipe right on the touchpad that will draw your weapon. This will trigger a cutscene, and you will acquire the God of War armor.

It is not difficult to acquire this armor; there are many more such armors available in the game. You just need to find the right shrines to unlock all of these. Most of them are located on Iki Island.

Ghost of Tsushima Will Keep You Hooked After Completing The Main Story

Ghost of Tsushima does not end after completing the main story; it will transport you back to Tsushima, where you will get to embrace the life of the ghost, who has been outcasted by his noble family.

That is when you will truly begin to live in the shadows, hiding from Mongols and Japanese soldiers alike. The immediate task at hand would be to liberate the remaining outposts that were still under the control of Mongols and explore the island for exciting gifts.

Side quests in Ghost of Tsushima have a lot to offer and are well thought out. These quests are a gateway to exploring many new things that get unlocked upon completing the first quest of any area. Even entering Iki Island will require you to complete the first quest. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.
