The Hulk is one of the toughest and deadliest. This immense enemy can withstand a tremendous deal of damage and moves at high speed, annihilating everything in its path.

This enemy is known for surviving several of the strongest orbital or stratagem attacks. However, like any enemy in the game, it’s not invincible, and eliminating it will require considerable effort. In this guide, we’ll show you the best strategies and weapons to defeat it more easily.

Very Few Helldivers 2 Stratagems Can Eliminate the Hulks

A simple strategy won’t defeat one of the Automaton army’s toughest enemies. In fact, most of them will only weaken it. The HMG Emplacement is one of the most reliable options, though it may leave you stationary.

This machine gun is truly lethal for any enemy, and if you use it to aim at the Hulk’s legs in Helldivers 2, you’ll slow it down initially, then finish the job by targeting the rest of its body.

With the orbital laser, there’s also a substantial chance you’ll kill it with a single hit. If not, you’ll weaken it enough to finish off with a few more shots.

Any kind of mine is also useful because if the Hulk steps on one, it will likely destroy its legs and make it move much more slowly, turning it into an easy target to kill. Any other type of orbital attack will also help slow it down enough for another weapon to finish it off.

Weapon Selection Is Crucial to Killing It Faster

Unlike other enemies from the various armies in the game, this one won’t die with just a few shots. Besides being fast and tough, it’s hard to kill with one weapon.

However, to ensure you eventually kill it, you should always aim for the legs. For example, you can use the MLS-4X Commando. Aiming at the legs and a bit at the body, you could slow it down enough to finish the job with regular weapons.

Keep moving and use weapons like the railgun, quasar cannon, or spear. As long as you aim for the legs, it will be much easier to kill it with just a few shots.

The fact that it’s so tough also makes it a constant drain on your ammo. This means players will need to spend a lot of bullets and stratagems to finish off these targets. If you combine this with the use of automatic turrets from a distance, it’ll be much easier to kill it.

A Tough Opponent, but Not Impossible

Using the laser cannon or the spear is the most effective way to kill it; these two weapons are essential for weakening the enemy by targeting its legs, which eventually slows it down and allows for normal execution.

Avoid using firearms, as they don’t deal enough damage to slow it down. Anything that causes an explosion near this enemy will be helpful to slow it down and destroy it. This enemy is very hard to destroy without heavy weaponry.

Another excellent combination is to lay mines on the ground while turrets continuously shoot at them. This strategy will eventually destroy the Helldivers 2 enemy, eliminating the need for direct firing.
