Helldivers 2 Meets Indiana Jones in an Almost Comical Leg-Shattering Escape
There are games that can really achieve what all video games strive for: the ability to make players enjoy the experience. Helldivers 2 is one of the titles that can generate almost unlimited fun with one hilarious moment after another.
With a very active community and sense of companionship, there are epic moments that happen organically in every new mission. This time a couple of players make a dive to reach a door before it closes, like Indiana Jones in one of the chambers with treasures. Unfortunately, this didn’t go as expected.
One of Helldivers 2‘s features, like a passive skill, is the ability to generate fun and epic moments at any time. The co-op third-person shooter obligates the player to work as a team to accomplish every mission.
With references to big franchises like Terminator, Starship Troopers, and more, players are making new homages to other IPs. In a new video, even Indiana Jones has this kind of commemoration in this game.

The very popular account that only shares news about this game posted a new video on X/Twitter with this really beautiful moment that a player wanted to try, inspired by the popular 1980s hero.
The only thing that this epic clip needs is the legendary score of the Indy movies and to pass the door with a complete body. This player really tried to accomplish the impossible, but his teammates needed to revive him again.
Many Helldivers 2 fans replied to this video, talking about how close this player was to passing through that door. Others have just posted a number of GIFs about Indiana Jones. Like always, many users simply celebrate democracy and liberty; some just asked for a medic to revive the fallen soldier.
Several comments used the concurrent phrase to describe this awesome moment, the classic “Rest in Pieces.” This giant metal door was part of an Automaton mission that makes you rescue high-value targets, a very complicated mission that all players need to accomplish.
The studio was really focused on trying to eliminate these deadly robots for good, but the players have not accomplished this yet. There are rumors that a new possible enemy will replace the Automatons, but there is no confirmation about this.
The Illuminate, a being of light, is the rumored new enemy in the game, but Arrowhead has not yet confirmed this. The studio is about to release the new enemy very soon, with players close to defeating the Automatons, and all of the game’s dynamics will change completely. New content is added all the time in the game, and the fans are also waiting for the new recon vehicle.
