Hitman 3 VR Reloaded Has a Release Date and Will Allow Dual Welding

Hitman is one of the most popular stealth game franchises out there and IO Interactive has done an incredible job on the games on the series over the years. The series has garnered a massive fan base all over the world.

Fans have been looking forward to the next game in the franchise, Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded and it now has a launch date. While the wait will soon be over, there’s more to celebrate as it will have Dual Welding among many things.

Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded Finally Has a Launch Date

Hitman 3 was the third and last game in the World of Assassination trilogy and originally launched in 2021. The game was loved by fans and critics and for players looking to pop open some heads in VR, they do not need to wait for long as Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded has a release date.

IO Interactive and virtual reality game studio XR Games has announced that the VR version of the “multi-million selling title” will launch on September 5, 2024, exclusively for Meta Quest 3. Here’s what Bobby Thandi, Founder and CEO of XR Games said about the game,

It’s finally time for players to play an untethered HITMAN experience. We’re so excited to announce our release date, and can’t wait for players to finally get their hands on HITMAN 3 VR: Reloaded when it releases on September 5th. Not long to wait now!

The game is launching for £24.99/$29.99 and can be purchase now via the Meta Horizon store. Fans can also pre-order it for a 10% discount to play the game that “marks a significant milestone” in the popular franchise.

The Game Will Have Dual Welding Among Other Exciting Features

Hitman 3 VR will launch with a plethora of amazing features for players as they play as Agent 47 to take some of the most important contracts. The game will feature Dual Welding, allowing players to use a weapon or item in both hands, for a more thrilling gameplay.

The game will feature a new cel-shaded art style, enhancing the immersive experience. The user interface has also received an overhaul for “intuitive control and navigation.”

The movement options have also been improved with what will feel like more fluid and natural movement in the game. The game will feel easy to navigate even in complex environments with exciting speed and stealth.

Developer XR Games has labeled the game as “the most immersive untethered” Hitman game experience and is perfect for both seasoned and new players looking to get into Agent 47’s world.
