Hogwarts Legacy update to introduce mod support

Mod support is coming to Hogwarts in a matter of days. Naturally, this will be a PC only thing.

Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software shared a short presentation on social media encouraging players ask the real questions… why not ride around on a vacuum or deck fellow spellcasters and creatures?

Avalanche is also keenly aware that it needs to give some mods out there, which is why it partnered with some community members already to share some mods on January 30 when the update goes live. It also sounds like it’s “easy” or as easy as modding a game can be, that is, to get started.

“We’ve made it easy for everyone. It’s all simplified with official tools provided by us. For mod creators, you’ll be able to get the official Hogwarts Legacy creator kit, free on the Epic Games Store. The creator kit provides powerful tools right at your fingertips, allowing you to flex your inner developer like the ones here at Avalanche and conjure the magic with custom mods that other players can enjoy, too.”

The update goes live on January 30.
