Hot Springs woman facing several charges after allegedly running over elderly man in Benton
BENTON, Ark.- Benton police say they have a woman in custody after she allegedly ran over an 85-year-old man.
According to investigators, officers responded to the area of Highway 5 and Kenwood just after midnight on Saturday to reports of an aggravated assault and discovered an injured male.

Officers said the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment and his condition was found to be stable.
After an investigation, officers said they arrested 32-year-old Brittany Johnson of Hot Springs.
She is now expected to face charges of aggravated robbery, theft of property, terroristic threatening, and attempted capital murder.
Johnson also faces separate charges in Maumelle where she was located following the incident.
