How to Beat Abductor Virgins

This guide will show you how to beat Abductor Virgins. This is another rare case where the Tarnished must fight two separate bosses simultaneously within the same arena. It can be intimidating fighting two bosses in a cramped arena; however, these two are not as tough as they look.

Fortunately, players shouldn’t worry about these two bosses if they aim to complete the main story. However, some Soulslike players will not rest or be satisfied until every single boss in the game is defeated, or if there are regions they have left unexplored with this guide that will help them succeed.

Where Can You Find Abductor Virgins?

The Abductor Virgins are hidden under the Volcano Manor, but Elden Ring players must go through different paths to reach the arena. The game developers of FromSoftware did not hold back designing the Lands Between and kept their promise of delivering the largest map in a Soulslike project.

There are a few alternate methods to reach the arena. The first one is for the Tarnished to venture into the Academy of Raya Lucaria, and they will spot a lift that they can use to descend to the lower levels and spot an Abductor Virgin. Instead of fighting it, players should willingly get captured, and they will respawn at the Volcano Manor.

The other method will rely on players descending rather than getting captured. It is much riskier, but some ledges are conveniently placed for players to jump from one platform to another until they reach the bottom. Eventually, they will see the lava flow and come across a Site of Grace. Players will have to jump wherever they can to traverse the dark caves and fall into a pit leading to the fog wall where the twins are hidden.

How to Prepare to Fight the Abductor Twins?

The Abductor Virgins’ greatest weakness is their poor mobility. Elden Ring players can run in circles around these two but should be mindful of the reach of each melee attack and ranged attack. The Tarnished should be at least at level 70 or higher before setting foot in the arena to have better stats to take on this duo.

Elden Ring players have a few options to take these foes down but must bear in mind that these enemies are somewhat susceptible to lightning attacks. Most players would prefer to fight enemies in Soulslike games the traditional way, like fighting up close and personal; however, this could put them at risk by staying within the radar of the Abductor Virgins.

How to Beat Abductor Virgins?

The Tarnished have the advantage of size and speed, which should give the players an edge. The Abductor Virgins are slow but deadly, and it is prudent to stay beyond their reach and reign down fire wherever they can.

After getting into the arena, players can head right to climb the rock formation to fire different ranged or sorcery attacks and use Fire Sling or the Great Glintstone Shard. This strategy mirrors the same way to take down Black Blade Kindred by striking and running behind a structure that the boss can’t reach.

After reaching the top, players should still equip their shields to protect themselves from stray attacks. Elden Ring players must prioritize taking down the Sickle Abductor Virgin variant to decrease the chances of being hit by ranged attacks.

The Tarnished should have enough Flask of Cerulean Tears to keep firing different magic attacks. This method may be time-consuming, but it is much safer and very efficient.

Players will be rewarded with 10,000 Runes and the Inquisitor’s Grandiole Armament for defeating the Abductor Virgins. The trek to reach the arena is somewhat more challenging than fighting these bosses, but it is a good excuse to explore more of the Lands Between.
