Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree is located at the Haligtree Promenade. The Tarnished will have two encounters against Loretta, one in her spirit form and the second fighting against her physical form. The spirit form can be fought at Caria Manor.

Elden Ring players have to put in some work to reach the second arena. The Tarnished can rest up at the Haligtree Site of Grace then head left to hop down a few roofs with a few lurking enemies around and keep heading down to a wooden bridge where they can see a fog wall from afar

Beyond the fog wall is where the physical form of Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree will be waiting for the Tarnished. Players should not go in to fight this optional boss unprepared or without the proper equipment.

Players can cheese this fight by immediately summoning a durable Spirit Ash like the Mimic Tear to distract Loretta and use Rotten Breath to inflict Scarlet Rot. This is arguably the best method and has worked against other bosses like the Fire Giant and many more.

There is another method that involves fighting this boss from a distance. The Tarnished can use the Rock Sling to hurl large rocks at the enemy and they can dodge incoming attacks. After a few good hits with the summoned ally distracting the boss, Loretta will be defeated in no time.
