How to Dominate With the Tactical Class

Warhammer 40K’s latest installment has a lot to offer to players, especially when it comes to the Space Marine 2 multiplayer mode. This latest installment has given players six classes to choose from, and players can select their favorite class based on their play style. However, there’s a catch: no two players can choose the same class while playing in the same squad. Each squad member should belong to a different class.

This is indeed a little annoying, but this rule needs to be followed in both PvE and PvP modes. In that case, knowing the best build for every class is essential, and this guide will elaborate on, if you are willing to choose the Tactical class, the best weapons and perks you should equip. Notably, the tactical class is one of the best classes, which offers a wide range of weapons and perks.

Space Marine 2 Multiplayer Tactical Class: Best Primary Weapon

Tactical Class is one of the best Space Marine 2 multiplayer classes that provides players with a good balance of close and long-range weapons. If you go with the lore, it says, the Tactical space marines are the most strategically versatile ones; therefore, their having a wide range of weapons is pretty expected. The hard task is to choose the best among them.

Getting confused is normal, but don’t worry. We recommend you go with a Plasma Incinerator or Stalker Bolt Rifle. These are the most suitable ones if you want to take down enemies with insane speed and fewer bullets. Using these two weapons will give the default class ability, Auspex Scan, a substantial boost.

These two weapons are the best long-ranged weapons available in the class, and both of them inflict a high damage rate, which will easily give players an upper hand on enemies.

Space Marine 2 Multiplayer Tactical Class: Best Secondary Weapon

Now that the primary weapons are sorted, it’s time to check out the best secondary weapons you can get in the Space Marine 2 multiplayer Tactical class. Once again, the range is wide, but the choice must be perfect. In that case, we suggest you go with Plasma Pistol or the Chainsword. Even Thunder Hammer can also be a great option when coming to secondary weapons.

Plasma Pistol is one of the strongest long-ranged weapons players can get in the game, and most importantly, it does deadly burst damage to enemies, which makes the elimination process a lot easier.

About the Chainsword and Thunder Hammer, it is clear that both are melee weapons. However, these are the two strongest melee weapons that one must not miss in Space Marine 2, especially when choosing the Tactical class.

While the Chainsword comes with decent cleaving and swing speed, Thunder Hammer unleashes a massive energy field when it hits the surface. These are the expected features that players would like to have in secondary weapons during a battle.

Space Marine 2 Multiplayer Tactical Class: Best Perks

Not only Space Marine 2, but every other hack-and-slash shooter game requires players to choose proper perks to boost the offense and defense. That won’t at all be different when it comes to Space Marine 2 Tactical class.

Now if you are a newcomer to the Warhammer 40K series, the choice will be hard as the perks are divided into four categories: Core Perks, Gear Perks, Signature Perks, and Team Perks. While there are multiple options in each category to try, if you are looking for the best ones, we would suggest choosing Balanced Distribution and Final Shot as Core Perks.

While Balanced Distribution, increases the Primary Weapons to deal 10% more damage, equipping Final Shot will allow the guns to be reloaded automatically after performing a final blow. About the Gear Perks, Precise Calibration, Battle Focus, and Close Targeting will do the best.

Precise Calibration will allow players to deal 75% more damage to the marked enemies. Coming to the Battle Focus perk, it will allow the Auspex Scan to mark an enemy if players perform a timed parry on him.

Next comes the Closed Targeting perk. It will be helpful when Auspex Scan is in cooldown. At those times, equipping this perk will let the melee weapons deal 50% more damage to the Minoris enemies.

Signal Jammer should be the most recommended Signature Perk, which will disable the reinforcement option for the marked enemies. To put it simply, activating this perk won’t let the marked enemies call for reinforcement.

Finally, when it comes to Team Perk, it must be Transhuman Physiology or Communion of Fire. While Transhuman Physiology allows all the squadmates to revive 30% more contested health, Communion of Fire will decrease the recoil by 20% for all the teammates.

These are some of the best weapons and perks that players must give a try if they want to get the best in Space Marine 2 multiplayer.

What do you think of these suggested weapons and perks? Don’t forget to share your opinion with us in the comments!
