Every major city should have a doctor’s office stocked with Med Packs.

The Shattered Space DLC is coming soon, and just like players are hoping it will be the game’s big saving grace, you’ll need something extra to help you survive the new challenges Bethesda has in store.

If you’re not hurting for money, one of the best ways to get med packs in Starfield is by visiting doctor’s offices in major cities. They’ll heal your characters, sell Med Packs, and some can cure your Alien DNA for 10,000 credits.

After you empty their inventory, they usually take a few in-game days to reset. Either you can check back regularly, go to another doctor’s office, or just rest in the clinic for one or two days to reset their stock.

In New Atlantis, for example, you can find Med Packs at Reliant Medical in the MAST district. Simply head to the right when you enter and you’ll find the clinic. Reliant Medical also has branches in Neon City and Cydonia, where the doctors also offer Med Packs.

Another option in New Atlantis is the Med Bay located in The Well, next to Terrabrew. The Trade Authority and Jemison Mercantile in the Spaceport also have a limited supply of Med Packs, so don’t forget to check in with them whenever you’re in town.

Alternatively, you can obtain Med Packs from defeated enemies or chests, although the chance of getting one is random. First Aid stations scattered throughout the game’s various planets have a higher chance of containing Med Packs.

No money, no problem, as you can find Med Packs while exploring.

While it’s always handy to have doctors restock your supplies, you might find yourself running out before they do. This is where upgrading the Commerce skill in the Social Skill Tree comes into play. You can get better deals on Med Packs, making stocking up on these critical healing items easier without draining your wallet.

There are a few more tips you might want under your sleeve that’ll affect your Med Pack usage.

First, investing in the Medicine skill under the Science Skill Tree will significantly improve the effectiveness of your healing items, like Med Packs and Trauma Packs.

With this skill upgraded, you’ll need fewer Med Packs to fully restore your health, meaning your supply will last much longer.

While stocking up on Med Packs is crucial, don’t forget to swing by bars and grab some alcoholic drinks.

These provide a temporary damage resistance buff, which reduces the amount of damage you take in combat. Pair that with your Med Packs, and you’ll have an easier time in-game.
