How to Increase Your Maximum Health in Creatures of Ava

When your story progression becomes increasingly difficult, you might skip over some helpful upgrades in Creatures of Ava. One of Vic’s biggest upgrades is increasing your maximum health. You have more leeway to make mistakes, and consumable buffs synergize well with more HP. Here’s how to increase your maximum HP in Creatures of Ava

How to Increase Max HP in Creatures of Ava

To increase your maximum health points, you need to find Health Kits or Med Kits. If you look at the skill tree and go under attributes, you’ll find the Vitality I skill node. However, the requirement is finding two Health Kits instead of using skill points, which is confusing because they are inside the skill tree menu.

These Health Kits are hidden behind obstacles, frequently found near main quests. For example, if you go through the Through Stone, We Touch mission, some areas unlock after using the new Kirst ability. Searching every nook and cranny after unlocking a new ability that opens new areas will eventually lead you to find Health Kits, Backpack Pockets, and other notable items and upgrades.

The Vitality I upgrade requires two Health Kits and increases your max health from 75 to 125. Vitality II requires three Health Kits and adds another 50 HP to your max HP. There’s a total of three Vitality upgrades and you’ll need them to increase your survivability as you go through harder biomes and fight stronger creatures.

How to Heal in Creatures of Ava

Potions are the main way of healing. The basic Healing Brew potion heals 30HP. Since you are increasing your maximum HP, the Healing Brew potion gets more redundant as you get stronger. There are stronger potions, and you have to unlock them as you go through the new biomes and get new resources.

The next healing potion is the Strong Healing Brew, which heals 80HP per potion. The materials to craft this potion are mostly found in the jungle biome. As you get stronger, you’ll unlock stronger potions, which need new resources from the new biomes.
