How to Level Up Fast
Almost 20 years after its original release, Dead Rising has been re-released as a remastered version, allowing fans to indulge in nostalgia. While several crucial aspects of the game are necessary for success, leveling up is vital in unlocking new abilities, improving health, and gaining access to better weapons and skills.
To level up, players need to accumulate Prestige Points (PP). Although players will eventually collect PP by simply playing the game, there are certain practices you can do to level up fast in the game.
4. Take Photographs
While you’ll spend most of your time slaying zombies in the game, you can also take their photographs. This isn’t just a random feature in the game, as taking photos of the zombies will reward you with PP.
When near a horde of zombies, put a bag on their head so their vision is blocked. Then, you can easily take a photo as there won’t be any impediment. There is no limit to how many zombies you can click, so this is a pretty safe strategy to farm PP.
3. Find PP Stickers
There are PP stickers scattered throughout the mall that players can find to earn extra PP. Much like taking pictures of zombies, players need to click a photo of these stickers, which will net them 5000 PP. There is also an achievement linked to finding all the PP stickers in the game, so it’s recommended not to avoid them.
2. Rescue Survivors
As soon as a survivor call comes through, prioritize saving them. They give some of the highest PP rewards, and getting them back to the security room can be easier in the early stages when the zombie hordes are smaller.
Keep in mind saving rescuers can be time-limited, and if you delay your task, zombies will kill the rescuers.
1. Kill Zombies
There is no doubt that cleaning zombies in the game will be the most proficient way of farming zombies in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Just rev up a chainsaw and start slaying zombies for PP. Not only are there plenty of zombies to kill, but this will likely be the first method you use to gather PP in the game.
Simply go to the mall, and you’ll encounter several zombies. This is also where you’ll get to rescue the survivors, so it’s killing two birds with one stone. If you don’t have access to a chainsaw, you can use explosives or the Queen Bee item to eliminate several zombies at once.
