After finding this reference, user @mrpyo1 took to X, and shared a small clip,

In the clip shared by mrpyo1, Eve is seen using a rope to climb up a falling train. This pulse-pounding action sequence is a reference from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’ iconic train scene. This scene from Uncharted 2 has become a fan favorite, where Drake climbs up a falling train and a collapsing bridge.

Moreover, going by the comments on the clip shared by mrpyo1, it shouldn’t be very hard for players to find this Uncharted 2 reference. According to user @jaystationplus, players will find this reference when they are almost 15 hours into the game.

In the meantime, some other players have also found some references to manga in the game. Stellar Blade’s director had previously stated that the game draws inspiration from Battle Angel Alita. After finding a reference to Battle Angel Alita manga, user @Mangalawyer took to X and shared some clips regarding the same.

Stellar Blade fans are not happy with the censorship

There have been many controversies surrounding Eve’s character since the demo. The main point of the debate was the over s*xualized portrayal of Eve. Post-launch fans have noticed some changes that came to Eve’s character design. However, many are not happy with Sony apparently censoring the game.

Upset over these changes, some Stellar Blade fans started a petition to revert the changes. The petition has been started by Mark Kern on Change.org. They have started it with the idea that video games should not be censored.

The petition says,

“We believe in the game, we believe in Shift Up, and we are asking to get the game we believed in. Revert the censorship changes, patch the game, and you will find that even more gamers will join you and support you!”

At the time of writing, the petition has garnered more than 30,000 signatures and is very close to its goal of reaching 35,000 signatures.
