Kai Cenat is one of the most popular Twitch streamers in the world. The American social media personality has been consecutively awarded the Streamer of the Year Award in 2023 and 2024. The personality has been on the top of the charts in the list of most-subscribed Twitch streamers of all time until a VTuber edged past him.

Despite being beaten by a virtual content creator, the 23-year-old streamer showed unfathomed appreciation for the most subscribed content creator now on Twitch. This adorable gesture from this huge stream sensation has won the hearts of many.

Kai Cenat Shows Appreciation for Ironmouse

So far, it has been the reign of Kai Cenat on one of the most popular streaming services in the world, Twitch. However, things have changed as recently a VTuber named Ironmouse has set the world record for the highest number of subscribers on this platform.

Seeing his record being broken, Cenat went on to praise this new content creator, which has made fans go gaga over this reaction. Recently he stated:

I want to go ahead and congratulate Ironmouse for breaking my record. Clap it up! Clap it up! Clap it up!

This content creator has more than 320,000 active subscribers, which is nearly 14,000 more than Cenat’s previous record. For those who are unaware, regular “followers” on Twitch do not pay for the content that is otherwise provided for free.

One-time payments for a month-long subscription or recurring monthly payments are the available subscription options. Ironmouse has been on a 30-day streaming marathon, known as a “sub-a-thon” to achieve this milestone.

Who is Ironmouse?

Ironmouse is a VTuber for a company called VShojo. Instead of showing her real face, this streamer is also going with the trend of using animated avatars as her streaming face. 

Fans adore Ironmouse’s vibrant, pink-haired persona. She makes a variety of content, including singing, gaming, collaborating with other content creators, and “just chatting” with her audience.

Besides these, there is another reason for her success. This streamer herself is immunocompromised as she is battling with a chronic immunity system-related ailment. Some fans even claimed that they used to hear the breathing sound from her oxygen tube while she was streaming.

However, this huge success will be a big help for her, as she can now afford a better medical condition. Not only that, she has also pledged to donate half of her subscription earnings to the Immune Deficiency Foundation, a cause close to her heart.

Seeing a virtual streamer at the top of arguably the biggest streaming platform is quite surreal, keeping in mind her medical condition. And Cenat’s adorable reaction makes this achievement more wholesome.
