Killing Floor 3 Launches In March, Closed Beta Coming In February
Tripwire Interactive has announced that Killing Floor 3 will launch on March 25 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. There will also be a closed beta test for the game that runs from February 20-24.
Those who are interested in the closed beta will need to sign up via the Killing Floor 3’s official website. Killing Floor 3 takes place in 2091, 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. The mega-corporation Horzine has created Zeds, a race of subservient and bioengineered zombies. A rebel group called Nightfall must fight back against the Zeds in order to save humanity.
Tripwire Interactive also revealed a revamped version of the Siren enemy in a new trailer. This sound-based monstrosity uses sonic disruption technology to attack and defend itself.
Killing Floor 3 can be played solo or with up to five other people, and the game offers cross-play across all platforms.
There will be several editions of Killing Floor 3 for purchase. The $40 standard edition in North America includes two different preorder bonuses depending on the retailer: the limited timed-exclusive Clamefield Patrol Specialist skins pack or the Flatline Tactical Bundle. Outside of North America, the Day 1 Edition includes both the skins pack and the tactical bundle.
As for the digital storefronts, the Deluxe Edition costs $60 and includes the Shadow Agent Specialist and Weapon Skin Sets, as well as the Launch Nightfall Supply Pass and 1000 credits. The $80 Elite Nightfall Edition contains everything from the Deluxe Edition and adds on the Year 1 Premium Nightfall Supply Pass Access (holds four passes), and 3000 credits.
