Lacey’s Spring woman arrested after newborn tested positive for Fentanyl, other drugs
MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said a woman was arrested after she and her newborn tested positive for drugs.
On July 19, the Morgan County Department of Human Resources (DHR) notified MCSO Investigator Delgado that a woman and her newborn tested positive for fentanyl, amphetamine and methamphetamines.

DHR said it created a plan for the newborn to stay with a family member.
MCSO said on September 17, deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit arrested 28-year-old Hailey Lucille Crane, of Lacey’s Spring. Crane was charged with the chemical endangerment of a child.
She was taken to the Morgan County Jail with a bond of $2,500.
